About Nicole

Nicole Trevone Macon is a native of New York and currently resides in Connecticut. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Pace University, Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Bridgeport, and her Certification as an Employee Benefits Certified Manager (EBCM) from HR Web Advisor.

As the Director of Compensation and Benefits at The Chefs Warehouse, Nicole oversees the compensation and benefit programs for all US and Canadian locations. With over 20 years of experience Nicole is a successful benefits leader with a solid record of accomplishments in benefits management and compensation structuring.

Nicole is a dedicated and enthusiastic member of the New Haven Club of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Club Incorporated. She has served as the Corresponding Secretary, Assistant to the Director of Membership, Founder’s Day Co-Chair, Ticket Chair and is currently the Director of Membership. Nicole was the recipient of the Appreciation Award at the New Haven Clubs 75th Founder’s Day Luncheon. Nicole is a proud member of the Milford Chapter of the Links Incorporated.

As an active member of The Cathedral of the Holy Spirit Nicole serves on the ministerial board and has also served as a youth advisor, Sunday School Teacher, and choir member. She also volunteers as a tutor at New Haven Reads where she provides one-on-one after school tutoring through their literacy program.

In 1994, while singing with Hezekiah Walker and the Love Fellowship Crusade Choir she won a Grammy for Best Gospel Album by Choir. Nicole loves to travel, cook, bake, and spend time with family and friends. Because of her love for baking, she started her business Coco’s Cakes Cookies and More.
