Nicole Graham-McCathern is a resident of the Bronx, New York she is a graduate of New York City Public Schools and has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in Public Administration. She worked for the City of New York as a Labor Law Investigator or over seventeen years. Ms. Graham-McCathern enforces compliance with public works projects and works with minority business women’s enterprises to bid on public work projects at the New York City Department of Transportation.

Ms. Graham-McCathern is an active member of The New York Club (mother club) The National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. She has served as Third Vice President of the adult club Youth Club 2009-2012. She is currently Chair of the Scholarship committee 2009-Present, Financial Secretary 2018-Present and Fundraising Chair 2019-Present.  Ms. Graham-McCathern was able to award graduating seniors from the New York City and Westchester area with scholarships in the amount of 20,000 over her time serving as Chair of the Scholarship committee. She is Past President of the New York Young Adult Club, NANBPWC, Inc from 2000-2003. She held the office of First Vice President and assisted the club with planning programs and membership recruitment.

From 2003-2007 Ms. Graham-McCathern was elected to Northeast District Youth Leader of The National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. She assisted Youth club advisors in her district in starting youth clubs, Beta Psi (college clubs) and young men’s groups. In her leadership she held two youth conferences in New York City (Harlem) and Central Jersey (Neptune) there were over one hundred youth in attendance at these conferences. She was able to send four youth over four years to compete in the oratorical competition at the national convention of The National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs with their expenses paid.  In her administration she held the first rites of passage for youth not able to attend the national convention, improved communication among youth advisors and club presidents, trained youth secretary for district and national representation of Northeast District youth clubs. She serves a chair of Northeast District Nominating Committee for The National Association for Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc 2012-2013. In this position she reports to district membership of executive committee offices vacant.  Her committee conducts interviews of qualified candidates and presents a slate to the membership of candidates for office. Ms. Graham-McCathern served 2020-2021 as NED National Nominating she served as Parliamentarian on the committee.

Ms. Graham-McCathern was a member of the New York Young Professionals of The New York Urban League. As member of the Civics and Economics committee since in inception, Ms. Graham-McCathern was the co-chair of May 2007 National Day of Service where the New York Urban League Young Professionals received a $1000.00 grant from Citigroup for a financial literacy workshop for the youth. There were over one hundred attendees with the support of The New York Urban League Financial Connections Director Diana Coleman and members of the New York Urban League Young Professionals we were able to get in-kind services for a successful event.

Ms. Graham-McCathern serves on the New York City Department of Education Community Education Council District 9 Bronx, NY from 2011-Present. She severs as the Treasure and manages a budget of $20,000 for the fiscal years of 2012-2013. Provided resources of educational services and scholarship information to parents and children in Community Education Council District 9.

Ms. Graham-McCathern is a chartered member of the Greater Bronx Chapter of the Links Inc, she has served as the Recording Secretary, HBCU Representative and Fund Development Chair.
