About Allison
Allison Corbie
Allison Corbie has been teaching for over a decade as special education and social studies teacher in the New York City area. She graduated from Dartmouth College where she received her Bachelor of Arts in History. She pursued on the graduate level and received a Master of Science in Social Studies grades 7-12 and Students with Disabilities grades 7-12 as both a generalist and social studies concentration from Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry, New York. Additionally, Allison is a retired attorney who received her Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School, Brooklyn, New York.
In addition to serving as the Northeast District Financial Secretary, Allison serves as the Vice President of The New Rochelle Club. She previously served as the club’s corresponding secretary and the social media chair. She serves on several committees for her local club which includes the New York Collaborative, fundraising, and assisting with membership.
Allison is an active member of her community. She serves as a board member of NAMI- Westchester, where she serves as the co-chair of the annual walk. She is also the Connection Chair and past Ivy Leaf Reporter for Zeta Nu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. where she serves on several committees. Additionally, Allison is the financial secretary of The Greater Bronx (NY) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated where she serves as the chair of the Social Committee, co-chair of the Health & Human Services Facet, and serves as a member of the Rituals, Public Relations, and Executive Committees.
